Condition: Vg, 284pp +4pp catalogue. Ornately decorated forest green cloth with bevelled edges, blind-stamped borders, gilt stamped designs and titles to upper board, gilt titles to spine, blind-stamped floral device to lower board. The cloth is very clean and fresh, light rubbing to the corners and spine tips, gilt designs and titles are bright. Some light foxing to the prelim's otherwise tightly bound and very clean. It's a very beautiful volume, bound to the very highest standards and beautifully illustrated with engravings of the Arctic. Uncommon.
