Book: Vg+ Green cloth with gilt stamped titles and publisher's device to the upper board, the boards are very clean and fresh, the titles are bright, light pushing to the bottom corners, spine is also very bright. The pages are clean and tightly bound. Inscribed to the ffep by the author and dated July 29, 1956.
Wrapper: Vg+A very attractive example of this BIRO wrapper, unclipped price of 10s 6d net. Just the very lightest wear to the hinge corners, the spine tips are sharp, the spine is unfaded. Light toning to the white rear review panel and flaps. A very handsome example, signed copies of Onion's Ghost Stories are very scarce indeed.

Onions's collection WIDDERSHINS is highly sought, he is a ghost story writer of the highest order.
