Good: Publisher's original powder blue cloth with gilt stamped titles and designs to the upper boards and spine. Cloth is worn and age soiled, corners bumped and scuffed, spine tips are pushed, spine's have dulled to a gray colour, gilt-stamping still clearly visible to the spine and bright to the upper boards. Some marking and stains and general wear to the cloth. Contents are clean and tightly bound, original lemon endpapers, bookplates of author Piere Leslie Pielou to the fpd's, also bears the plate of the Irish Theosophical Society and ownership signatures. With full indexes, lists of contributors and many black and white illustrations and photographic plates throughout. Very scarce.
