First edition, first printing published in 1950 by Gerald G Swan.

Book: Vg+, 206pp, publisher's orange cloth with black stamped titles to the upper board and spine, publisher's device to the upper board. Very light wear to the corners and spine tips, light fading to the cloth along the hinge length of the lower panel. Tightly bound and very clean example.

Jacket: Vg- The superbly macabre jacket design by D Williams is printed on very thin paper indeed, small tear to the top edge of the spine which has been secured to the verso at some point, small loss to spine foot, light chipping to hinge corners, unclipped price of 4/6 net.

*Long is a mystery writer who has written a couple of novels which have supernatural/horror elements such as 'Death Looks Down' and The insane 'The Leprechaun Murders', this title is another batty mystery which features a friendly ghost, the jacket art is awesome.
