Heavy, solid volume in the publisher's original scarlet binding with blind-stamped titles to the upper board and gilt satmped titles to the spine. Corners are rubbed, spine tips are chipped and scuffed, spine has darkened and has some chippng/loss to the cloth. Foxing to the prelim's, the rest of the pages are tightly bound and clean. Previous owner's bookplate and inscription to the fpd. Uncommon.
