First edition, first printing, undated [1927] and published by W Collins Sons, London. 181pp + catalogue of Arlen's other titles bound in at the rear. Book: Fine, a superb copy of the book, dark red cloth with black stamped titles and borders, the lightest wear to the corners and light pushing only to the spine tips. Sporadic areas of foxing, the pages are tightly bound and very clean. A very attarctive copy indeed. Dustjacket: Vg, some light restoration around the the head and foot of the spine using Japanese spider tissues. Superb pictorial jacket design by Aubrey Hammond, general age soiling to this lightly coloured jacket, flaps are clean, lower panel advertises Arlen's other work, 2/6 price to spine as called for, light wear along the hinge lengths. A very scarce jacket.
