Late Victorian Scrap-Album containing over 200 Christmas Cards.
Condition: Good; Maroon album with black stamped titles and gilt stamped floral designs with butterfly, chromolithograph of a lady to the upper board. Boards are rubbed to the corners and edges, age-soiled and lightly worn for it's age. The binding has cracked internally but the block is still holding on. The album leaves have toned/browned with age, some page edges are brittle and dog-eared. The cards are in very good condition, superb chromolithographic examples, some textured or printed in relief or gilted, it's a beautiful little collection, the album itself was made by Barnard & Son, 339 Oxford Street, London.
