Bound copy of the uncorrected proof. This is the author's copy, signed, dedicated and with full corrections in the author's hand. Good+ Red cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 304pp, the uncorrected proof edition with the original card wraps have been bound into red cloth. Signed to the title page 'George Oliver Personal' (Onions took the name George Oliver), hand written dedication and corrections in pen throughout the whole text. The cloth is Vg, clean and fresh, titles are bright. The card wraps which are bound in are heavily foxed with uniform toning to the rest of the pages. A good copy of the original first printing dustjacket also accompanies the book.
