234pp, Book: VG+, Original Orange Cloth with black stamped titles to the spine, the boards are vibrant, fresh and bright, sharp, square corners with an unfaded, bold spine.. the boards present as Fine but the text block is foxed which corresponds to page extremeties, there is foxing to the first few pages front and rear otherwise a tightly bound and very clean copy. It looks superb.
The wrapper: VG+ Superb, Sleazy Wrapper Design of a naked, chained woman. An enviable example with only light rubbing to the extremeties, small chips to the hinge corners, the flaps are bright white, the spine too looks superb priced at 2/6 Net with the Original publisher’s ‘Reduced to 1/- ‘ sticker beneath. Further Philip Allan titles to the lower panel you just wish you had. How many Allan Jackets survive from the 30s???...unfortunately very, very few. Extremely scarce in any condition, Let alone in this condition.
