Undated first edition, first printing published in 1935 by The Modern Publishing Company, London. 

Book: Vg, cheaply produced book, red cloth with black titles, boards are very bright and fresh thanks to the wrapper, the black titles are bold. Very light pushing to the spine tips and spine lean. Front hinge lightly cracked, pages have uniformly toned/browned. Wrapper: Fair/poor Fragile pictorial wrapper, loss to the spine around the tips, loss to the hinge corners and along the edges, small closed tears, tape to the verso holding the seperated panels together. The pictorial front panel is superb depicting a man carrying a body across a train track siding at night. 2/- price to the spine. 

Extremely scarce in the wrapper which despite it's fragility is complete and holding together.
