Solid, square copy, light pushing to the corners and spine tips, the cloth is deep in colour with little wear, spine unfaded. Foxing to the text block and prelim's otherwise the pages are tightly bound and clean. Ex lending library with label and stamps to fpd. Scarce title. 


*The story centres around an old family tradition connected with a painting of a beautiful woman wearing a blue dress which is said to possess her evil spirit. Throughout the generations this malign spirit is reincarnated in a member of this ancient family, always with dire and disaterous results.
