Solid, square copy, light pushing to the corners and spine tips, the cloth is deep in colour with little wear, spine unfaded. *The story centres around an old family tradition connected with a painting of a beautiful woman wearing a blue dress which is said to possess her evil spirit. Throughout the generations this malign spirit is reincarnated in a member of this ancient family, always with dire and disaterous results.
