Vol I, No 2 published by Gannet Press Limited, Birkenhead, UK (1956) Priced at 1/-, 48p. Large format pulp magazine, WEIRD WORLD ran for only two issues and is extremely scarce. The cover art by Roger Davies is surely one of the most hauntingly beautiful and eerily alluring illustrations in Supernatural and Weird Fiction, it is accompanying by a further eight superb black and white illustrations inside.
It is a fine copy with the lightest wear to the corners and extremeties, barely a mark to the wraps, the covers have retained excellent colour, very light age soiling to the whiter lower panel, pages are uniformly toned and tightly bound, no corner creasing or marks. A fine copy of this difficult genre rarity.
